Terms of service

By using ViperCapture, you agree to use the service responsibly and within these terms.

Acceptable use

Render only public pages and content you are allowed to process. Do not bypass access controls or CAPTCHAs, attack services, collect sensitive data, violate privacy, infringe rights, or create unlawful content. Do not use custom headers to impersonate another user or disclose credentials. Attempt, concurrency, input, output, and abuse limits may be enforced or access suspended to protect the service.

Plans and billing

Starter costs $5 per month or $48 per year. Builder costs $10 per month or $96 per year. Paddle is the merchant of record and processes subscription payments. Annual prices are 20% below twelve monthly payments. Upgrades apply after approval; tier downgrades take effect after the current paid period. Cancellation stops future renewal while paid access continues through the provider-confirmed period end. Failed payments receive a 48-hour grace period. Refunds or chargebacks may end current-period paid access immediately. See the refund policy for eligibility and requests.

Credits and referrals

Free, Starter, and Builder receive 1,500, 10,000, and 30,000 monthly API credits. Successful single image, video, HTML, Markdown, metadata, diagnostic, certified, and sliced renders cost 1 credit; successful PDFs cost 2; viewport packs cost one credit per image. Failed renders release reserved credits. Website captures use separate limits. After a referred user’s first successful payment, the referrer receives 120 credits. Referral rewards expire after 12 months. Unused reward credits may be clawed back when the qualifying payment is refunded or reversed. Referral abuse or self-referral is prohibited.

Availability

ViperCapture is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service, immediate capacity, or perfect output. Shared capacity is intentionally limited; requests may queue or be rejected under the current published limits. Pages can block automation, time out, or change rendering. You are responsible for source rights, caller headers, output use, and keeping API keys private.

Open source

The MIT-licensed OSS distribution includes the self-hosted renderer, web interface, local control plane, SDKs, and integrations. Hosted identity, credit, billing, referral, and managed storage services remain separate. These terms apply to hosted ViperCapture.
